I’ve known since 9 years old, that I wanted be a successful songwriter, poet and author. I was writing raps and making mixtapes in 4th grade. I knew I had worlds inside of me needing to transform into magical stories, suited for the darkest and bravest souls. To move people, and awaken their natural healing response in the heaviest tribulations of life’s grief. To imagine love bigger than this 3rd dimension. To encapsulate beauty and create timeless history. I will always have this healing and don’t ever plan to stop achieving this.

My voice and my story, wouldn’t have found a home without these blessings from God, and the support and beliefs of the peers around me. I had made it my life’s work to produce everything I’ve finished. Fortunately, the process of recording from home has become fairly easy, and I am able to save money and keep on the mission of releasing everything that has had a profound impact in, around, and for my writing. Thank you all so much for listening and coming out to gigs!

WHAT’S NEXT!?

My next release “Old Street Sessions” is a 6 song EP, featuring 5 brand new releases, alongside “All Night Dreams” and “Precious Prayer 13” ( 2 singles that released last winter). These 7 songs were done between January and March last year, while residing at our old high school band house on Old Street in Peterborough. There was a focus and energy that happened while being in a familiar home. The juice was still in there!

I left a bassline out of “Don’t Want Yours”, and many songs are percussion or even just acoustic guitar like the 1st song, “Greenie”. To capture my listener’s in the intimacy of this writing, means we are keeping a lot of raw takes for this project. “Old Street Sessions” releases everywhere on Sunday, March 22nd.
